Early access · beta opening soon

Upload a character.
Get a production-ready rig.

AdvancedSkeleton Online reads your model, fits a skeleton to its proportions, and builds a real AdvancedSkeleton rig. Download the finished character as a Maya scene or FBX — no Maya install, no rigging experience required.

The pipeline · version 1

Upload a humanoid character. AI places the FitSkeleton. You review it. AdvancedSkeleton builds the rig.

01

Upload

Drop an FBX, GLB or OBJ. Any humanoid — stylized, scanned, or hand-modeled.

02

Detect

AI reads the mesh — proportions, symmetry, limbs, fingers — and fits an AdvancedSkeleton FitSkeleton to your character.

03

Preview & adjust

Every predicted joint is shown in your browser. Accept the fit, or drag joints until it's right.

04

Build & download

AdvancedSkeleton builds the rig. You download the finished character — a Maya scene or an FBX skeleton + skin.

Why it's different

AI doesn't rig. AdvancedSkeleton rigs.

The AI has one job: understanding your model. It only has to place the FitSkeleton close enough — every joint after that is placed, weighted and wired by the same deterministic system you'd run inside Maya.

That's what separates this from the AI auto-riggers: the output isn't a best guess. It's a real AdvancedSkeleton rig — predictable, editable, and animation-ready.

Already have a skeleton? That's next on the roadmap.

The first beta is built for fresh models — upload a mesh, no skeleton required. After that: recognizing existing rigs like Mixamo or the Unreal mannequin and rebuilding a proper AdvancedSkeleton rig around them.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need Maya installed?+
No. Detection, preview and building will all run in the browser and on our servers. The Maya output is a .ma scene you simply open when you want to keep working in Maya.
What does the AI actually do?+
It reads your mesh — proportions, symmetry, limb and finger positions — and places the FitSkeleton. The rig itself is built by AdvancedSkeleton, deterministically. And if the AI is slightly off, you can drag any joint before building.
What characters does the first beta support?+
Humanoids — stylized, scanned, or hand-modeled. Focusing on one body type first is how the fits and the rigs stay reliable.
My model already has a skeleton.+
The first beta is built for models without one. Recognizing existing rigs — Mixamo, the Unreal mannequin — is next on the roadmap.
What happens to my uploads?+
Your model is used to build your rig and for nothing else — it isn't published or shared. Final terms ship with the beta.
